NFS Resolution Question

by NToto » Sat, 04 Nov 1995 04:00:00

A fried of mine just bought Need for Speed for me Sunday. I installed
it on my PC (P90, 24mb RAM), yet am having trouble with the resolution. I
have a Diamond Stealth 64 w/ 2mb VRAM and a 15" SVGA monitor. The problem
is that the top, bottom and right "margins" are correct on the screen, but
the left side brings the picture in about 3/4" from the edge of the
screen. My "Go '95" is proper and I have also adjusted the resoltion in
the game itself. I can't seem to find the problem. Thanks ahead of time...

Run the S64MODE.EXE the came with th eStealth card .

Then add a  "\stealth\s64mode monitor" to your startup for the game
(or to your autoexec)  this will reset the S64 setting for your monitor.
