First, I've done the rally school, and got a perfect on everything, except
the last one, where you have to do a stage. It was getting late and I was
tired, so I only managed a pass, in about 82 seconds. Is it worth going
back, and repeating it 'till I get a perfect? Does it unlock anything, or
can I just forget it and start racing next time out?

Second, does anyone know of a no-dvd patch for it? I can't get access to gcw
because of the firewall.

Oh, it works perfectly on my AMD 2400+, 512 RAM, Win98SE, NVidia Ti4200,
MSFF gameport wheel system. I can run it in 1024x768 with reduced detail,
but it looks great in 800x600 with everything on. Getting 30-40 fps.

Oh, well, actually, the intro doesn't work very well, it stops and starts,
but as I'd be looking to disable it after watching it once, it's no big loss
;-)

You get the 2000 Scooby if you get gold stars all round so it's worth
giving that last stage a go. If you can't crack the time try just
driving other stages for a few days or do a full rally on novice to get
some practice in, when you go back you should have no trouble getting a
gold star.

In your richardburnsrally.ini set runintro to false. the ini files are
really user friendly.
