Well, of the three tracks I have I can only get the game to see
Watkins Glen and it CTD's as soon as I try to get on the track..
Laguna and Limerock never even show up... this is using the Porsche
Cup Mod and it's "add tracks" function..

i haven't used the Porche cup mod, so I need you to do some research for
me.  Go into the track folder of the track that DOES work.  double clik on
the file that ends with .gdb or .sdb and copy the the top several lines.  I
need to know what the Porche filter is.
filter = 2003 scc2002 etc etc
Then we can go back and examine the other tracks.
Usually there are two reasons a track won't load.
either it's missing a file or it's looking in the wrong place for a file.
again.  looking at a working track you will see a file that ends with
.scn.  Examine the top lines there and compare them to the non-working
tracks.  You can try copying and pasting the working tracks info over to
the non-workign track.

Hi Dave -

Here is the top of the .gdb file for Monza, which is installed by the
Porsche Cup mod and works well.. When I changed the Filter properties
in the .gdb and also changed some paths around I am able to "Add" the
track and select it in F1, but as soon as it tries to load it ...CTD..

Success! It all could have been so easy if a simple readme was
included... With the Porsche Cup mod come a "Track Importer" of sorts.
Thing is, you need to have the downloaded tracks extracted into the
proper place to begin with (duh). Now, as they were United States
tracks I extracted them into the \United_States folder under \Season
Data\Circuits. I also tried putting them under PCC Season
Data\Circuits\United_States\. No go. Even if the Porsche Importer saw
them and seemd to succeed it would CTD upon loading. I went in and set
all paths correctly manually in .sdb, gdb, and .scn files and still a
CTD.

Finally I deleted and re-extracted them to the regular F1 C \season
data\circuits\ folder (NOT under US sub-folder) and the importer saw
them, impoted them, and they WORK!!

Thanks for all the help!
Gary
