For me, it'll probably eventually come down to what I prefer to do
with the game/sim:
Hot lap and compare times? - then I'll likely stick with GT4. The
FF wheel is a strong factor here. Whatever, I just prefer driving
in Forza.
Get into online racing? - obvioulsy Forza, though I'll probably
just tinker with it.
In fact if it weren't for the addition of the 14 mile Nurburgring and the
improved physics, I'd say GT3 was the better game!
Forza on the other hand is everything that GT4 should have been, including
online multi-player!
It has a terrific assortment of both real and fantasy tracks, and excellent
selection of cars, much better physics than GT4, and much, much better AI,
not to mention the drivitar based AI.
The cars are just as adjustable as in GT4, and upgrades and improvements
might even be better implemented than in GT4 as your upgrades will have a
direct effect on what car class you "ride" ends up in after the mod's are
added on.
I just picked up Enthusia for $25 at Fry's, last Friday, but haven't had a
chance to play it yet.
However even if it does end up being a GT4 "lite", at 1/2 the price it's a
bargain!!!
I have to agree that it would be nice if MS would release a FF wheel for the
XBOX, on the other hand, GT4's inability to support the Logitech Momo FF
wheel is inexcusable! I've read that the game COULD actually support it, but
that Polyphony Digital actually coded the game to prevent that wheel (and
probably others) from working with the game, thereby forcing you to buy the
latest PS2 supported FF wheel if you want to race without having to use the
gamepad.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents...
Let's see what others have to say?
