I am having problems with CART Racing (ICR2 Win95) on an HP Pavilion
8280.
It was basically working, but had lines lines running across the
display.  I downloaded
the latest video driver from the HP support area, and it did clean up
the display in some
other new games, but it messed up CART Racing.  The lines are gone, but
now after I
drive out of the pits, the display locks up constantly, giving about 2
frames/sec.

The video card is an ATI Rage Pro, and the HP driver version doesn't
seem to match
the version on the ATI site.  Does anyone have any experience with this
problem?

Thanks in advance.

try going into the graphics options then advanced then disable DirectDraw
and see if that fixes it. It will probably give less resolution but might
fix the frame rate problem
