Just as a comparison, what kind of numbers do you get without the Voodoo2?

Also, (sorry if this question has been answered before) how can you tell how
many frames you're getting in CPR?

Thanks!

40 fps sounds great!  I get 30fps with a STB Riva 128 and everything turned
on.  CPR doesn't really use 3dfx though.

>>Is CPR 3dfx supported?, cuz if it isn't, voodoo2 wont do anything for it.

I didn't do a frame rate check but the CPR demo just ran great on my Diamond
Stealth II, no overclocking involved.  There were some hiccups with new textures
and cars, but in the demo at least, it was very fast and usually
smooth..Suprised me since I've heard about everyone complaining of slow frame
rates,  and the clipping was extended out to the furthest distance.

Hi Dave,
You can type " frame" while in the demo or full version and
your fps will be visible in lower right corner of screen.
I know it seems odd but results here have really varied among the posts I
have read. Originally I was running CPR on a STB Velocity
AGP card and got 30-40 fps I usually use no sky or steering wheel as thats
how I like it set.
Now I have a Canopus and it also gets 32-35 fps off the PCI.

Hey Mike! I don't know if you all have heard but, the D3D drivers that were
released for the V2 were not even close to beeing finished. 3dfx, is releasing
the finished D3D drivers at the end of the week. The original drivers were only
implementing ONE of the tfe. chips! No wonder we're seeing shitty performance
with D3D on the Voodoo2!

Take care...........
