It seems to me that we're all babying Mr. Pickens just a little too much. A
swift kick to the groin, a thrown gauntlet, or some pie in the face might do
the trick where the nice-nice and well-meaning advice hasn't. I think a
little motivation in the form of a friendly wave as you pass him on the
'Ring ought to do nicely.

Michael.

Andrew

Better do it sooner than later because as soon as I can find a few hours to play
I should be able to drop below 100 with a few more laps at Monaco, Spa, and
Kyalami.  And if I can get a whole afternoon to myself I think a sub 9:00 at the
Ring is in order. Don't you just love moving targets...errr benchmarks.

Hmmm...all this bragging and competition... seems to me this is not my usual
nature. I wonder... Are GPL fans competitive and boastful? <G>

me too. i've got an expensive set of ch usb pedals but can't drive for
poo with them. Anyway, for all you realism freaks, I've heard that
left foot braking was not done in those old cars and (I have no idea
if this is true) wasn't even possible because of the way they were set
up.

How quickly they turn... :)  By the way, who's Mr. Pickens?
Actually, all the guys in front of me are the motivation.  My 'Ring time is
*killing* me on GPL Rank.  Even though I've lowered my handicap about a minute
since I started, I'm still lower in the rankings...  Too many faster guys keep
joining... <g>

I said <sigh> becaues the 9 minute mark is sort of a 'barrier' I'm trying to
break through.  Since I haven't broken through yet, I'm not satisfied.  It
would be like trying to roll a 300 game in bowling, and ending up with 299.
Yeah, it's good, but it's not your goal...
Besides, the record is what - 7:48?  I'm still 1:15 off...  8:30 and I'd be
happy.  At least *then* I'd could run with the AI...

My PBs are all from February...  The only improvement I've made(aside from .47
sec at Silverstone) is at the Ring...

I can't drive thru the pain...  I've fallen, and I can't see the track.... :)
