I've had that problem myself, have no idea what to do"-)
Also I was racing at Sears Point, and the race ended under caution. As
soon as the pace car crossed the finish line, the whole field slowed
down to like a crawl. Well, seeing how the race was over, I passed all
the cars and couldn't find the pace car. I kept going and the pace car
was so far ahead doing the normal pace speed. Anybody have any idea why
this happens?
Just wondering,
Matt

Ok, maybe its just me, but evey time a caution comes out at dega. I get
caught behind some cars that are slow and have no intention of catching
up with the pace car. The green flag is thrown and I am already a half
to3/4 of a lap down. Does anybody else have this problem?

Any help appreciated:
Jeff

It is not just you.  What happens is the computer cars get shuffled out of
line while slowing for the pace car and are unable to pass each other back
to get in line.  The consequence is that they go really slow trying to let
the other cars get by.  It seems that N2 needs a pace lap passing groove to
allow the cars to get back in line.  Another solution would be to move the
pace car down toward turn 3 to pick up the field - allowing them to get
slowed down.  This last fix would also help racing back to the line at
other places like Bristol - where not running into AI cars at the s-f line
is almost impossible.

Happens to me to! Also another great feature of N2 is pitting while in the
lead during a caution at Dega' Some AI will always run into the side of
your car while the right side tires are getting changed and since I run
with damage on this pretty much ruins my race!
BTW I have to get a new crew each times this happens cause the other ones
are killed by these accidents:)

Yes, it happens to me too.  I tend to turn damage off at Talladega so I can
wreck the offending car.  This causes the others to speed up!  It happens
to me mostly when an AI car is leaving the pits and another AI car is going
by on the track.  They tend to sit and " wave " each other out. " You go,
no you, no you......... "  Like the interstate in Birmingham.....

It happened to me too. It looks like the computer drivers get fooled that
there are cars in front of them or that cars are not correctly placed and
they also slow down alot. theres got to be a patch for out there soon for
all tracks. it happened to me at atlanta once too.

Happens to me alot at various tracks, especially Bristol.  Hopefully the
upcoming patch will address this.

I've got a patch for you guys that so far works perfect!!!! It's
posted at several sites or e-mail me for it.
We should have recieved a fix for this long ago from papy but
they don't seem to give a xxxx and I'm not being unfair. Just try to
get some info from them on fixes and you'll get zip (empty) and a
bunch of yo-yo's who defend them for doing nothing.

Dega is not the only track that you get whacked in the pits.  At
Richmond they come around your left side, in the infield, killing all crew
and media, then bash you.

Don't feel alone.  They seem to be able to drive through the wall at
Richmond entering the pits and (of course) seem to reenter the the pits
right about where your car is setting while your pitting!  I was in the
top 10 about half way through a 50% race when my car was the same as
totaled.  The only thing not destroyed on the car was the inner liners!
I wasn't mad, not at all.  I was PISSED!
