I think for some drivers (such as Shinji) the first valid pit stop is
something on the order of a triumph . . .

OK. That's the second time I've read that term in this group today. What is

Whoops! I was guessing on the Shinji time frame. All I remember was Shinji
was no newbie and Varsha's intention was strictly mean. He meant that after
16 to 32 races, Shinji had never made it to the first pit stop.

I like that hard edged wit. Derek Bell is another that I enjoy in the
commentary seat. No excuses in his mind... :-)

You haven't heard out moderation-team here in Malaysia yet. I could
trash them all the time.
