We've all had a lot of talk about how much were all going to have to upgrade
for N3.

According to BHMS the game will RUN on a 266 Pentium, but 400mhz is
recommended. Ok so even my lowly year old 2000 dollar DELL should handle
this game with it's 450 Mhz processor. My Graphics card (a 16 MB STB TNT
1)could be a bottleneck but it should run pretty well, since sierras demo
computers at E3 were around 400 mhz as well.

This isn't a personal rant about my computer, but just a bit of a reality
check for those thinking were all going to need a 800 Mhz processor to run
the game well.

Just my opinion, don't kill me. :)

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but what is "T&L".

actually Hardware T&L is the issue, since T&L is already done on all systems
one way or another via the processor
T&L is Texture and Lighting if I'm not mistaken.

am I?

Dont you mean N4? :)
While you wont need a 800mhz to run it, it will definately improve it
due to an "unlocked framerate"
I believe that anyone who doesnt currently own a graphics card that
supports T&L will immediately go out and get one that does once N4 is
released. It will be a MUST HAVE! :)

Kai, you will be able to get it to run...N4 that is...but how many
features will you have to turn off?  32 bit color? T&L? How many cars
displayed? etc etc...
You have a vid card that is 4 generations old, you have a cpu that is
at LEAST 3 generations old, and you expect a graphically cutting edge
program to run like the***ens?
Sure, you will be able to get it to run...but how well and with what
options?
