How stupid can you be man.  The post you were refering to was posted 4
days ago on the 20th of may.  You tacked you senseless flame onto the
reply from Charlie Heath/Papyrus   I suggest that you read his reply
again in which he does acknowledge there's a problem.  If you'll look
up to the very top of your monitor screen you'll see a help tab, USE
IT when you see something in blue it doesn't mean I posted it again
this should have given you a clue when you see RE in front of the
header. Let me ask you this by the way why do you have a problem with
someone else getting a fix for the Sim.  I mean I didn't have the
lurching problem but I didnt condemn everyone complaining about.
If you like the Pitting AI then fine but dont tell us to shutup
because we desire a fix.  Again I say why dont you read the Back
of your N2 box (very top) it reads " Authentic racing from
qualification to championship" Considering you are the one that
started the Boycot thread you probably dont even have a box.
Just a guess but I'm sure you didnt even pay for N2 so why dont you
let those of us who did get the fix we need.

Charlie,
I appreciate you replying to this matter. If its beyond the scope of a
patch can you please tell us what Papyrus plans to do?

If I did, they'd have to kill me (-:.

All I can say is that there's an awareness that the AI is going to need to
be improved in the future ... I couldn't speculate on what product the
improvements might make it into.

I'd say improving the AI should be Papy's #1 priority for N3 (or
whatever's next).  It seems that improved AI is the key to all of the
other features that everybody's still asking for: double file restarts,
straight pit roads, etc...

I can't argue with that (And I'm glad I'm getting a reasonable relpy
that doesn't include yelling and screaming <G>), but I in turn must
point out that I shouldn't have been racing in the middle of the pack to
start with. I should have been looking at clean track. I have no
problems whatsoever if, say, I over-rev the engine and blow it, or if I
come up on a wreck and can't avoid it, or even if someone drifts up and
puts me in the wall... That's racing, or so they say. It just really
irked me on that one instance because I shouldn't have *had* to deal
with all the traffic when I got out of the pits way ahead of everyone
else.

Well, it doesn't happen all that often (at least to me), and that could
be why nobody says anything. And I am pretty sure that they brake faster
than we do, as well as the reaction time thing. At the 'Glen goung into
the inner loop I've started braking very early (Before any of the
braking markers) to avoid a wreck only to end up in the corner first
anyway, causing a mess. I dunno, maybe I didn't have the pedal to the
floor, but I'm pretty sure on this. Try starting in the middle of the
pack at this track and see how ridiculous it is trying to get through
the first corner on the green. I've almost given up racing there unless
I get the pole.

        And there's mine

        What? A worthwile thread? Impossible!

what? worthwhile thread? you've GOT to be kidding. But it does seem nice
to have a coherant conversation without all the insults a drudgery,
although an earlier post of mine about indy cars is going to get me
flamed to a crips i'm sure ;)
