GPLRank, reset clocksmash?

GPL Rank is showing clock smashes at Monza and Monoco.
I deleted "record.ini" in track folder then ran an online race.

Then uploaded "player.ini" to GPL Rank. It still shows
clock smash.

How do I reset this?

Do I delete the track time in "player.ini"?

Thanks,

Yup, record.ini is not used.
You might rather set a bad time in player.ini (or your original
record, if you still know it exactly), since probably NOT having a
time there counts you out for some statistics which need times for ALL
tracks.

The best way is to remove the lap from your player.ini  then re-do the time.
This can sound a bit of a pain but times shouldnt really be 'entered' in the
.ini,   as in 'I did this time at this track once ... I'll just add it
before uploading'
anyway... getting the time again will be fun :))

Open up your player.ini, go to the [Monza] and [Monaco] sections. You
will see lines for you best laps for each car you've done a lap in, and
for each mode, race, training, and practice. The fastest time will be
the highest in the list.  Completely delete the line in question and
save the file. The next fastest lap becomes your current fastest lap.

You guys (Dan Leach and Don) are mean!

I just back up my player.ini when I upload a new time so if I clock smash
(and for some reason upload it to GPLRank) I can just restore my backup. I'm
not sure I'll EVER see 1:29's at Monaco again (must have been inspired that
day).

p.s. As many have said, thanks for keeping GPLRank up despite the swapper
controversy, and trusting the majority of us to be honest little gpl-ers :)

Rob, GPLRank -3.47 (and stuck there...)
