n2002  daytona seems like end of the back strt.

Just hold your line at that place, and if you are able either stay low or
stay high.  Leaders are quite able to pass you there without a problem,
yeah.  It's not like there ain't enough space, they could go 2 wide passing
you even if you were staying in the middle.  There is even dividing lines on
the track to facilitate that.

Generally speaking, go high and stay there.

It doesn't hurt to have a Macro recorded for "I am going high" and "I am
going low".

The very best answer is the one you chose, STRAIGHT AHEAD.

It is the responsibility of the overtaking car to pass safely, end of
story.

Granted, you probably should have been using shift-F2 to notice that
the leaders were closing long before it was too late to get to one
side of the track or the other.

So, no star next to your name, but no black mark either.
