F1 on Psygnosis!!!

I tried it at a local shop a couple of months ago and was absolutely
disappointed. Not that I'm all gung-ho about this bug-ridden, now
obsolete (read: no updates) piece of code called "GP2", but I really
hated it for the fact that they let Jochen Maass do the commenting job
(the guy does his best to have everyone fall asleep live-covering F1
races for RTL, a German TV station).

The paddle steering sucked rocks (I assume it's all-digital). I'm no
GP2-Guru (fighting hard for a 1:12 at Pacific), but the GP2-atmosphere
is much better in my opinion even with all the predetermined car
failures (ever tried it? If someone blows an engine reload from an
earlier save, and it'll happen to the poor guy at *exactly* the same
time and on-track position!!!)

BTW, the Eurosport dilemma (no F1 coverage, RTL only in Germany) is
the reason I'll not be watching F1 this year. Maass and Wasser are
just too much for the average mind. 8-[ 8-[ 8-[ I would like to kick
Bernie's ***really hard for that one.

        Regards,
