This one gets me far too often as well! After all the blind stuff, you
would think this part of the track would be easy, but for some reason, I
***up here more than just about anywhere else on this huge track. What's
really aggravating is when you're trying to do a hotlap and after the 14
mile outlap you get to here and***the pooch on the first turn, causing
you to start over!
straight
I agree with you on this one, too. This whole sequence is the most
difficult stuff in GPL for me. With the possible exception of Mexico City -
the first turn with the collapsing apex that then sharply reverses to the
left with the extra penalty of the concrete tires.

Woodcote corner at Silverstone can be pretty exciting (Last right hand
corner before the start/finish straight) especially if you are on a good
lap and trying to take it as fast as possible! Taking it too fast, thus
resulting in a four wheel drift slide most of the way around is great to
watch on a replay, but not the quickest way around?
I agree though, that Eau Rouge (Spa) is awesome if you get it right?
(which in my case, is not very often!)
Monza's Curva Parabolioca (last *long* right hander before the
start/finish straight) is also very exciting if you are trying to really
nail it on a fast lap. Seems like you have to wait forever to floor the
throttle, and get on the power too quick and off you go!
I also think the (very) fast left hander after the (very) long straight at
the "Ring" is a great corner. (Sorry cannot remember the name?) Coming
at the end of the lap, its one of the key corners in my view. If you
manage to come through it fast enough it can make the whole lap, lose it
here and the whole lap is wasted.
One of the great things about GPL is that there are so *many* great
corners, too many to talk about, so get back to the track and
practice.....
Just my opinion.

Oh man, I hate that turn... I've taken it flat-out one time before, and on that
time, I almost spun out and I almost got airborne (I don't know how! hehe) but
when you do get it right, it's a hell of a rush

Ooooh how I hate that part.. it would be nice if you could just bash through
those picket fences instead of smashing into them as if they were concrete!
Another thing I've always wondered: Is that 2nd corner at the Nurburgring
the only 270 degree turn in racing?

Not sure about exciting, but I am not on speaking terms with the first
turn at Mexico.
As for exciting, I doubt anything tops Masta at Spa in a Hine
engineered Ferrari... Although I do like that right hander at Zandy
where you go across the little bridge.. tottally flat for me if I get
it right, and the line has to be absolutely spot on or you must give
that little lift to stay on the grey stuff coming out...
Thanks!
