As far as I'm concerned, they can spin and be read forever?
Cd's get easily damaged if they get scratched at all on the front (where the
silkscreened graphics are), and then the data cannot be read.

I don't like to USE my cd player except when necessary. I've already had
a 40x Toshiba oem burn out and I don't want to loose the Hp rw burner I
replaced it with...so for me...WHENEVER possible, I buy a new game I go and
search for Nocd right away...

Huh? The data is on the underside, not the top. The lazer is on top but
actually reads the data on the underside with a mirror.
