Since NR2002 uses larger textures for the cars, does this mean it uses
larger textures for the backgrounds? I know nothing about editing the
tracks, but would this present a problem?
And if it does I guess that means someone would have to "update" the
textures in the same manner that the GPL textures where most recently
updated.
Just a thought.

How do you know this?? NC2002 is nothing like N4! It's, it's own! and from
what I understand no the N4 converter will not work with NC2002.
We all know what "assume" means!

Actually I like N4 more than GPL... but only because I've grown bored of GPL
after it's 3 years at the top. During that time we've seen (hmm...):

N2 BGN pack
N1999 EA
Nr1999
N-Revolution
N2000 EA
N3
N2001 EA
N4
