Nascar 2002: IVGA Features the Wide Tona Coming This Month!

The IVGA was founded in 1994 and we have years of experienced running
on-line racing leagues is
about to restart there on-line sim racing series.   Memberhship is limited
to just 38 racers and
the racing format and tracks are different as well.  This club is not for
the newbie, but the old
veteran sim racers that know how to simple race hard, fast and clean.  One
of the featured
differences at www.ivga.com is the double wide tona track.   Now if you want
to race 3 or 4 wide
or if you have to get out of the way of the pack you have room to move up.
We expect
although the top lane to be as fast as the low lane with special track
construction.   If you
think you have the talent to race tona and the other wide tracks being
prepared, bring it on!

We have been testing the tona track with no plates at about 240 MPH laps.
This isnt all
about going fast as you have to manage your gas and tires.   The plated
versions of tona
are the same about 195.

Visit the www.ivga.com and you can see the WIDE TONA tracks.

Please send us your comments.

it........

Well, I'm definitely not in that league,
but it sounds like such quality racing
that it would be a lot of fun to watch!

Can you guys make replays available?

I'd love to see a clean, intense sim race.

With me on track they'd best make it triple wide.
4 times if I'm letting John through, he seems to have a magnet installed in
his car ;)

Nah Ed, I just figured that there wasn't any way to
actually "watch" the race other than a replay.....

Would be nice though, huh?

Don't know if it would belong more on the
Speed channel or TechTV....

"Glaspak"

There is a league that has been broadcasting LIVE coverage of thier
racing.  I don't know the technical ins & outs, but it should be
transferable to anyone with several computers, lots of extra hardware
thingies and the like.(sorry sometimes the technical side of me just POPS
out!)

Nim Cross runs the VRW (Virtual Racing World).  Simulates both owners and
drivers and has a live broadcast ?weekly?.

2 Computers.

One joins the server - and is the 'producer' - and using a decent gfx card
with TV out.

Feed that TV Out into a 2nd PC - with Vid Capture - and feed this online via
real-producer or the WMV equivilent - job done :P

Something I suggested to the Filsca guys about 12 months ago
