Yes, this will definitely work. In fact there were reports that Canopus was
offering them together as a bundle for a total of $299.00. However, I just
went to their site and could find no information on it. Both cards appear
to be offered for $179.00 each. The Total 3D(Rendition Verite chipset)
offers stereoscopic 3D glasses and 3D sound which the other Rendition
cards(Sierra, Intergraph, Creative Labs) do not. The Pure 3D(3DFX Voodoo
chipset) has 6MB total of memory(4 megs of texture memory and 2 for the
frame buffer), as well as composite and S-Video TV output. Canopus is
currently taking orders for the Pure3D, and it is expected to ship at the
end of
the month. I have an Intergraph Intense 3D(2D/3D Rendition) and a Diamond
Monster 3D(3DFX) and it does give the best of both worlds if you love
Indycar 2 and Nascar 2.
