don't have a clutch pedal (yet), I liked it better as a semi-auto. TIA

Yes, that was a poor word choice I think. The choice would have been
clearer if they labled it gearbox selection and had a choice between semi
or manual.

no Haq, yer not missing anything, You probably can chew gum and walk at
the same time. Others of us...have problems with that.. :)
Amateur just lowers the workload some.

I think you hit the nail right on the head Dave (as usual). And thanx for the
responses. Off to try it.

Hmm, chewing gum and walking at the same time, that sounds like that will
require some practice....

Can someone explain if there's any advantage in using a clutch pedal on the
pro setting? As Haq points out, it still seems very do-able even without
using a clutch.
Also, can some experienced racer explain the timing when blipping. i.e.
should I just quickly 'stab' the throttle and then downshift or should I
hold the throttle on while downshifting?
Haven't grabbed the patch yet, but I've been running a normal gearbox
since day 1 and it seems to behave like GPL or N4/2002/2003, aside
from not causing critical damage if you don't lift when you shift.
I hope the rankings on findthelimit.com are now divided into amateur
and pro since using a semi-automatic gearbox gives a decent laptime
advantage.
