Ive got to say... MGPRS2 is simply great... Wonderful graphics...
great feel for the car and as for the retro racing Damm is it hard!

Shame Ubisoft didnt have an official licence so you have to do a lot
of editing to make things appear as they should (Team
names/Drivers/Artwork etc) but at least they provide an editor for
just that.

Weather effects are superb and so are the replay camera angles for a
change.

Ive only just scratched the surface so no big technical review here..
Just wanted to say its a huge improvement on RS1 and well done
Ubisoft!

Oh.. you change change screen res now..... :))

How about the rain races? Can you actually drive the car in this
version? F1RS was like driving on ice.

Good question...

Ive only done one short race at the realistic level in the rain. It
certain was hard work but the level of control seems to be a lot
better than in F1RS.... (That may be subjective though)

Overall the program seems a lot more polished that its predecessor...
The first thing I noted was that the slight buggy menu system now
works perfectly reading the mouse input much easier than before.
Also.. the controls whether it is via wheel or joystick seems to react
a lot faster and smoother.. which makes driving the cars musch
easier...

Also... the background graphics are not quite as 'cartoon like' as
F1RS..... Having tried the new graphic pathces to update the cars to
98 designs the whole things looks much better than I hoped and
certainly points the way to it becoming the No1 F1 sim...
