Q: What rig do you host with?

I thought my P3 550, 32M RAM, with ADSL would
be sufficient to host DTR, but the 7 or 8
participants were complaining about lag and
they quickly departed - their pings were mid
to upper 100s, some 200s.

I will experiment more, but I wanted to ask the
masses:

1. What machine and conn do you host with?

2. Which games, and how many participants?

BTW, I used EndItAll to kill nearly everything.
(What is wmexe: "NVRAM manager"?)  All I had
running was Systray, Explorer, and Rnaapp.
Had ZoneAlarm going for a while, but killed it too.
Around 80% free resources.

thanks

P2-400 with 64Mb RAM and Voodoo2, 10Mbs connection.

GPL, full field of 20.

Doesn't seem to affect performance for me, but getting the latest drivers
for my network card made a **HUGE** difference.

Cheers

Scott
