Mark:

Ya, I have been called about everything you can think of.  I didnt
mind all the slangs and barbs, until last year someone called me
clinton.. hehe

Because I usually give them good reason in their minds.  I take on
the tough issues.  My first concern has always been the consumer and
if I see the developers arent giving good value.  I let the developers
have it.  Alot of these people love thier developers, ie, papyrus a great
company.  I love them also, but i also am a critic...but i am big
supporter of papyrus..

The Papyrus sims were fun (the first CART one was the best)

I agree.. I have said many times over that Rick Genter's Indycar II was
maybe the finest sim I have ever experience in everyway.   I only wish
that any of the NASCAR products could of been as good as that..

I still have my DTR and NASCAR I, II, III and Legends side by side.
I currently support Bethesda and RATBAG products from
www.proapproved.com with several real life drivers and beta testers...

There will be a sprint car game out soon.  There will be an killer off-road
truck, buggies, etc racing game soon.  There will be remakes of the
late models and open wheel modified will be added.  Other new
racing products in development.  I do know that these products were
developed as value line products at value line budgets.  Next year
these products will go hopefully from $20.00 to $50.00 titles and
the development funds will go up an order of magnitude.  If you like
any RATBAG products today.. i.e., DTR, and the soon to be released
Sprints, Leadfoot, etc..Just wait for 2001

Even at my site I link to many nascar sites for league racing.

With an MBA you wouldn't have such mediocre capabilities regarding
logic,
trust me... ;^)

Big sale numbers don't make a game a great sim, NEITHER do mediocre
sales
make a game a great sim! DUH? Only it's features can do that.

Nowhere did I say anything negative about DTR, just about the quite
childish
hype created by one of the fans (payed or unpayed) of the game.

Can you follow my logic now?

Don Wilshe most certainly reads this NG, or at least the parts of it
that concern him and the products which he endorse, not too long ago I
posted about my problems with a drag racing sim I had recently bought,
and not too long after I had an e-mail from Don where he tried to get me
sorted out..quite few e-mails went back and forth about my problem

Don simply refuses to play by everybody else's rules, but I kinda like
that, as I posted in another thread, a society made up of people who are
exactly the same would be a very boring place to be......

Precisely, and that's why we "allow" people like BB in here as well, you
need all kinds to make a society worth living in.....

Exactly.

And *exactly* the reason that we have a forum....if we all agreed about
everything then there'd be no need for a discussion group, just a mutual
admiration society! -)
