Eldred, I'd much rather deal with finding a way around a slow, clean
driver than worrying about whether or not the blue flamer behind me is
gonna be able to pass without shoving me into the wall.

Most leagues have probationary or "proof-of-ability" races where they
judge you mostly on your ability to stay out of trouble.  Find a league
that a) fits your schedule, and b) has a ruleset you can live
comfortably with.

Maybe what we need is an "association" or "society" for people that
don't want to join a league but that want to race online with like-
minded drivers.

Now THAT sounds like the answer.  Kinda like the F2 Club in GPL.

Hehe...trust me - I have a LOT of experience being passed.  Not all passers are
good at it<G>.

I'm in 3 GPL leagues(although two just want me for my servers...<g>).  Although
I've been *involved* in a few crashes, I don't think I've CAUSED any.  I feel
very proud about that.

I know of an F2 club that does that(they occasionally used my server).  I tried
to run a couple of their races, but I was nowhere NEAR up to speed.

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...
