I agree with Taladega, the tri-oval representation is totally inaccurate.
Often I hit the wall tring to go 2 wide on the outside.  Even on the inside
you have to cut it sharp.

I got it!!!!!! It's pretty cool but the tracks are no pieces of cake.
Especially Sears Point.... very hard.. Paid $19.69 with my employee
discount at Best Buy! Well Worth the Money, and time waiting. Good job
Papyrus.

Now if I only could win one of these new races...

I had a little trouble with the season loading because of the file names
in the calendar file were not the same. Rockingham, North Wilkesboro, and
C***te would not be put in the Championship season w/o editing.
Otherwise fine.

Does the NASCAR Track Pack also include an update that supersedes v1.2?  Or
is "ONLY" the v1.2 patch included with the Track Pack?

>: For those who are unaware of this, the track expansion disks for
>: NASCAR Racing from Papyrus will be available on May 16.  Also, IndyCar
>: Racing 2.0 is tentatively scheduled for a 4th quarter release.

>Here's to readers of British *** magazines: Has there been any
>indication when Nascar Track Pack will be released in Europe?  I'm
>hoping for the best, since the release dates of Nascar Racing in US and
>Europe were only couple of weeks apart.

I heard from a local games store that *** will release the track
pack NOT EARLIER THAN late July/early August!!!

That just plain SUX!

No it's true, the turn is too sharp. The real tri-oval would take seven
seconds at race speed from the time you turn the wheel to the time you turn it
straight, on the sim it takes only four. Not to mention, the real turn takes
you out right underneath the flagstand. Don't worry even the accomplished
NASCAR drivers couldn't get through this turn if the real thing was modeled
after this sim. The sim is excellent and it's definately not the setup as
someone suggested, if it was, someone would be telling us that they went three
wide in the sim.

Yeah, I finally got through to their UK support number the other day
asking about replacement manuals and asked about the release of this.
Mid to late summer I was told, which equates to late July/early August
as you say! Bollox.

Oh well, that gives me some more time to master the current tracks
(just got the hang of Michigan!)

I just got the track pack and updated the Calendar file for the
championship season.  However, when I load the season, it only
shows races up to Sept. 17, leaving out the last six races of
the season!  Is there a way to race the entire season (aside
from Daytona and Indy of course)?

I think it was all done in an effort to keep track design simple and to limit the
virtual area that the cars actually drive on. Notice that there are inside retaining
walls on these digital tracks as well?
