Having just been in touch with Ubisoft I thought folks might like an update
on the state of play...

The 1.06 patch is slated to be the 'final' patch before the team turn their
attention to F1 98. The patch is to be the final 'bug-fix' and also includes
the force feedback functionality that was originally supposed to be present.
Apparently, the latter has already passed testing & WILL appear in the next
release - Hallelujah!

The downside was that the provisional release was 'next week sometime' -

Funny, they have been telling this to me about two weeks ago and i am still
waiting.

Guess they might get it out sometime, then again pigs might fly
