Tweak for LOD in F12001?

Someone posted the other day a LOD tweak you can do to F12001 so that
the cars ahead don't disappear half way down the track. Well, I
finally got F12001 today and want/need to use this tweak. Anyone know
exactly what I have to do?

Here's what I did (and it worked!):

To get better car detail and to avoid disappearing cars in front when
driving in***pit view, open default.cfg (save folder) with Notepad and
change LODMultiplier in LocalCam=Cockpit section from 1.00 to 3.00 or even
better to 4.00.
