Hi,

the game freezes at the track loading screen.

Are there any must config changes ?

been using 56k at this place, now broadband.

I had no difficulty going from dial-up to broadband with the game -
don't know what would cause that problem. Sorry!

  There is a a little configure box at the bottom of one of the multiplayer
screens.  You have to tell the sim to find your connection to the internet
by an alternate method.  2nd possible problem is you have a firewall that
is popping up a box asking for permission to let Nr2k3 go out on the net,
but the game screens don't allow popups so you don't see the request.  
Try alt-tabbing at the screen it appears to lockup at.
