Can a Thrustmaster Wheel be rewired and used on a Playstation?

I'm trying to take an old Thrustmaster T1 wheel/pedal sytem and rewire it in
order to use it on a Sony Playstation.  I understand how the Thrustmaster is
wired.  If I obtained a Playstation controller cable could I wire the
Thrustmaster into the cable.  Would it work?  If so, does anyone have an idea
of the wiring for a Playstation controller.  Thanks in advance for your
responses to either question!
