Mac NASCAR setting gross colour palette

I just got NASCAR for the Mac, but when I run it, the splashscreen looks
fine, but the rest of the game is all gross colours. I mean, REALLY gross.
Like it suddenly switched to some different colour palette where blacks and
oranges predominate. I've played with my "Monitors and Sound" control
panel, and even switched desktop patterns. I have no other programs
running.

Machine: PowerMac 8500/150
Memory: 64 MB
Colours: I've tried both 256 and 32,000
OS: 8.0
Extensions: On or off didn't make a difference
NASCAR: 1.0.1

Not sure this will help but try giving the app a little more memory and
delete the NASCAR Racing Preferences file in the System Folder.

I'm using a 7100/66, 40 mb ram with OS8 and don't have any color palette
problem with Nascar..
I don't know what it could be, but I suggest you to try to repost that
on comp.sys.mac.games.action or to ask your question to the MACAR
League:
