N3: included replays human or not? And manual guides usefull?

I just looked at some of the included replays in Nascar 3. Are these driven
by real people or what?!? Example: at Indy the car drives 200 Mph until the
'1' sign (first corner), brakes hard and drives through corner 1 at 160/165
Mph. When I wait with braking until that 1 sign, I'm dead! I'ts impossible
anyway, to get a clean corner after that. This is the same at corner 3. I
have to let go of the gas and apply brakes at the 2 sign or I'm screwed. Can
a human REALLY drive like this??? (The replay lap was a 178 lap.)

Also, the manual says (as an example) you have to keep the car at 6500 RPM
in all corners at Indy. Well, when I do that, I cannot even get a lap of 165
Mph. This way I have a speed of about 150 Mph in the corners, while the
replay car flies through them at 167! Also, my tyres already screech when I
go a bit harder. Are the suggestions in the manual of any use or not? Even
at 98% AI the cars all pass me when I follow the guidelines of the manual.
And can you drive around without screeching tyres AND driving a good time?

I still can't believe how fast it is possible to go at some tracks. I am
going as fast as I can, driving what I think is  the best line, Thinking s
how can you go any faster. but someone always is on the track showing me
there is faster. Maybe its setup or driving.  In N2 I can think how much
faster I am now then I was when I first signed on TEN.  Well what I am
trying to say is, You can't really see what to do from a replay. Yeah you
can see the line but, You can't tell if they are coasting then hitting full
brake, or maybe applying brakes gradually through turn or again gently at
first then stomping them....you get my point. Are they letting off gas
completly?  All these variables can not be seen from the replay.  Go out
there and run lots of laps and you will get faster

Well, the replay for Indy isn't the best line around the track.  179's are
possible by slowing a bit earlier than the replay shows.  I myself am still
trying for a 180.

Forget the manual then, be patient spend time developing the setup and than
hit the road!

Just drive your own line and apply your own braking pattern. Dont
worry about what others are doing and what the manual says.
I typically let off the gas between the 2-1 signs and apply the brake
at the 1 sign.

I broke 180 only once so far. Since then i havent been able to. I have
a feeling it had alot to do with the temperature during the session.
Last race i was in i couldnt break 179, so i feel that temp has alot
of significance on speed.
