Now THAT would be something spectacular - there has NEVER been a
decent Bathurst track on the PC, only stuff like DJTCC which had a
good track but a totally pathetic game. It would be difficult though
I'm sure.

By the way, thanks for a fantastic track, also great to see a sense of
humour for once with the little things here and there to find (Mr
Bean, etc. etc.) Congratulations. I can't wait for your update on the
AI, etc. Is the racing groove to be in this list? Or is the "technical
reason" a bit too much of a headache? No biggie, still a fantastic
effort!!!

Thanks a lot for the kind words Rafe - we're glad you and the rest of the
ppl. here liked Snetterton.

As for the racing-groove.. I'm sorry to say that I don't think we'll include
a fix for it along with the AI's. From what i understand.. it's a very time
consuming task to get it right at the moment.. but maybe we'll be able to
fix this problem for future tracks..

Too give you a little idea of how little the groove seem to mean to ppl.
take a look at the ?sterreichring and the groove there...  I can't see I've
noticed alot of post here about the placement of that groove? :-))

It's really nice to have A groove, but it's not that important to
have it follow the best racing line. As you  learn the track, you
learn where you need to be relative to the groove, it's almost a
little to much help having it be perfectly on the racing line.

Hmmm.....that's disappointing news, Ed.
As an "off-liner", I was hoping that we would have some AI to race against.
Snetterton now becomes a "could've been" for me, unfortunately.

Ed, what is all this talk about broken AI?
They ran up the banking, they bashed into the bridges, theys stopped and
started in several different places.  From what I can tell, they modeled
my driving perfectly.

That confused me too.  Ed *is* working on the AI right now, but when released
it will *not* include a groove fix.

So smile again :-)

Ed was a little bit unclear in his post, but relax: he only said that
they won't fix the racing groove, but he is working on the AI :)

Yes, thanks Andre.  I've since discovered (here) that the lads are indeed
beavering away even as I type! :-)
