Seems that the more people use the Net, the less real thinking goes
on. Use a dial-up shell, FTP the demo (screw this 'use the web' ***
for big files- it's too slow and too damn risky, since there's no
error recovery). After FTPing, use ZMODEM, like in the old days.
You'll get it faster (compresses the file) and you'll have error
recovery if the phone line gets tripped up. Better approach, no?? If
you can't find an FTP site (I couldn't) use LYNX on your server, and
you'll still get the file a helluva lot quicker. Then, after the
transfer is done, save it to your account, then ZMODEM.
The file is exactly 818523 bytes. Put the zip file in a directory
named n2demo since they're too shallow to write a flexible install
program. Make sure to unzip using the -d option, and then, after all
that, run install. then, go to the directory you used, usually
NASCAR2, and run setup.

PS- 'stock' cars give me a rash, I prefer Gp2, but damn!!! This game
has better graphics than Gp2, and the 'spotter' audio is a real nice
touch.Once again, Papyrus has upped the ante,
