Does anyone know if the tri-oval will be fixed in Nascar2?

You should be able to run 3 or 4 wide.

Talladega IS being redone, as Mike Carver said, but where do you get
the idea we should be able to run 3 or 4 wide there?  They can't even
do that at the REAL track!

Taladega is being re-done.  They hope to be able to provide real racing
on this track.

Look closely.  He said the TRI-OVAL.  Not the whole track.  I failed
to mention the word tri-oval in my response.  Sorry for the confusion.

Well, I would agree that 4 wide is suicide.  But, I have seen the real
boyz doing it 3 wide.  As an aside, who's spotter last weekend said
something on the line, "High, Low, You have your sandwich!"?

Hey, I've seen a technique in GP racing (real) whereby you can in fact
fit 3 *or* 4 cars through a turn like the tri-oval.
It's called Le' Machine :)
Just let her whirl and count the pieces as they fly out of the dust
cloud.

My .99 cents

Have you watched a race at Taladega? You should. It's fun watching them

I rarely see 3-wide racing in the tri-oval at Talladega, without
having a near crash coming out it.  The original poster mentioned
three or FOUR wide.  Four wide is definitely not possible.  But since
I failed to mention tri-oval, I guess I'll apologize for failing to

3-wide.  I do think that 3-wide in the tri-oval is much more hairy
than other parts of the track, and therefore not done if can be
avoided.

I agree that the Tri-oval in Talladega NEEDS to be fixed.  I'm always sick and tired
of grazing the wall at 195+ MPH.  In REAL NASCAR,  you'll be seing them go this speed
and not even touch the wall.

YES,  if you watch some fraggin' NASCAR races at 'Dega,  you'll see 3-a-***
racing in the TRIOVAL,  and sometimes,  4-a-***!!  Just watch the race,  and you'll
see what I mean.

Hopefully NASCAR 2 will make the Tri-oval like the real 'Dega Trioval,  which being nice
and easy to get accross.
