Binary:
  http://www.wingmanteam.com/files/Patches/beta/LGS460ENU.exe

Highlights:

  * Improved force feedback accuracy and detail.

  * Much greater precision. 16 times greater, up to 82
ticks per degree. Making it the most precise wheel
    on the market, AFAIK.

  * Can now set the desired lock-to-lock rotation in the
profiler, with virtual 'locks' provided by the FF
    motor.

  * Two more configurable buttons (L3 and R3 buttons
    decoupled from the shifter)

Sorry about that. Eric filled you in with the details now... otherwise
there's just a discussion about pros and cons and first impressions in
that thread.

Dammit!  I just bought a Momo Racing :(

Dave, maybe it's a good thing you couldn't find one.

Oh, wait.  I just remembered.  I bought it from Best Buy so I can return and
exchange it.  WooHoo!

I might do that tomorrow!

Does anyone have a reason why I should NOT do this?

That's actually important to me.  I'm well within my 30 day return period
for the Momo Racing I bought at BB.

Thanks!

Well, the MR has paddle shifters, while the DFP has large, wedge shaped
buttons in their place. This might be a big deal to you if you race a
lot of F1 (though I've heard reports of the MR paddles breaking, so
they might be a mixed blessing). The MR wheel also has a slightly
thicker grip. And it cost less.

In every other way the DPF is superior: ball bearing shaft, more
powerful force feedback motor, more than twice as many buttons, much
higher resolution, and the real killer -- adjustable rotation from 40
to 900 degrees.

I played around with the new beta drivers last night.  I had so many
problems I had to uninstall them.

I'll wait.  I can always sell this one and buy the DFP later.

Is this a Logi wheel?  If so, why no mention of it on their website?
(....at least under PC ***).

It's sold for the PS2.

It's USB and worked with drivers for other Logitech wheels, so people
have been using it on the PC since it came out. It's become so popular
that the Wingman team added support for it in the PC driver. I don't
know if it's officially supported or not. Why they don't market it as a
PC/PS2 wheel is beyond me.

I had the same problem others have reported.  Problems registering the brake
and gas pedals.
