There are four versions - light, medium, high and elite - for different
levels of PC spec. The "elite" version apparently needs something like a
new GeForce and an 800Mhz CPU...

Haven't downloaded it yet - but this should be *fun*!

YOW!

I managed to clock a 2:40 at crawling speeds, but the track is a sheer
nightmare. Those bumps are just CRUEL. Monaco is a pool table compared to
it. The first turn will cause unpreceded havoc in online races. The roads
feel about half the width of Rouen. The runoff areas have been cunningly
placed in dev/null. And I love every inch of it.

Except...

I downloaded, without a second of thought, the 'light' version for my
180mhz steam engine of a PC. The frame rate is OK except for one bit
of the track: at about 5.5 kilometers (I think) there's a place where
the track is flanked on both sides by a black-and-white fence. In that
spot I get under 4.5 fps. Anyone else having trouble at that section?

BTW: how come they named a curve after Maurice Trintignant? Wasn't he
still alive and kicking and winning races in 1954?

Hi there,
I have found the pages relating to this new track and although the
info there is very good there doesn't appear to be a link to download
the track. I can't access the pits either at the moment so any help
would be appreciated.

HELP!!

TIA

PH

I'm having the same problem :-(

It was available when I checked it from work this morning, but now the
download buttons are gone and The Pits and GPLEA sites won't open! Hopefully
it's just that there are a lot of folks downloading the track right now and
it will be available later.

Don,
I just found that if you select the other link at the bottom of the
page (EOCL - European Online Challenge League) you can egt it there.
The site is not in English but it is easy to see what the files are.

Cheers
