Well, usually I get games from EB the same day the local shop does.
For some reason they shipped a day or two earlier to the stores this

I pre-ordered about 3 weeks ago from EB World, for next day delivery, and
received mine today.
Am fixing to install it now.

Lowes is a good 'wow factor' track:  Solar glare on the front straight,
bumps on the back straight.  When is the next time we'll be able to feel
this type of first-day enjoyment?  It will probably be a LONG time.

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you

I've been guilty of that one several times myself, and after getting
harrassed by my Yankee boss about it, I looked it up in websters.  Under
"Fixing" there is an example of "fixing to ..." therefore, I choose to
continue to use it.  LOL

2 : to get set : be on the verge <we're fixing to leave soon>

As Jeff Foxworthy says...

"If you think the last four words of the national anthem are..."GENTLEMEN,
START YOUR ENGINES...."

You might be a redneck!

My pc seems to have difficulties with that feature... everytime I come in a
corner where's there solar effect, my FPS drops from a nice 60 to 8-9...

I'm running in 1280X1024, 16 bit, open GL; my specs: P4 2.26, 512 meg of
RAM, GeForce 4400 128 ram; det
41.09; direct x 8.0. My game crashed hard twice, I had to reboot using the
reset button. Do you have to have direct 9.0 on your machine to run it? I
installed the demo as soon as it came out and had the same problem (with the
solar effect, but no crashes). Anybody?

There's also "fitting to...".  An example:  homeslice in the movie "Barber
Shop" says "I'm fitting to get some fish".
