In the rendition-version of Cart there is cartrend and cartfast.
With cartrend its ok, but when I take cartfast its only sound.
And now my question: what is cartfast?

Which card are you using?...FWIW, cartrend is for systems that have
trouble running the DMA version (cartfast).  If you have an old machine
(some 430FX motherboards and older), cartrend is the only option.
However, you might be able to use the DMA utility that Rendition
released some time ago.  Several sites catering to ICR2 keep this on
hand, or you can download it at The Sim Project (utility section):

Cheers!

The Stealth may need some patches to get ICR2/CART to run properly.
See Bj?rn's 3D World - The site for Rendition news
(http://www.bjorn3d.com/) for more info/downloadable patches.  Or
power search RAS on Deja News for info on getting ICR2/CART to run on
the Rendition V2x00.  Good luck!

nothing to be frightened of, and no limit, any fool could get into
a motor car and racing would not exist as a sport." -- Jim Clark
