But really, what do car flips add to the game besides "OOOH...AAAH" effects?

Like David, I want things that affect the RACING:  random pit stalls, REAL
qualifying sessions (which Papyrus said they'll have), more car setup options,
and certainly better driver AI (if I get rammed from behind in my pit stall
EVERY AGAIN...ARGH!).

But Ron, you've got your priorities and I have mine, so, what a useless post
this is.  :-)

You bet they do, after all the owner usualy only makes about 50g a
nite on fri and sat.
Oh yeah, I forgot, no mirrors alowed in the cars and no radios, too
much blocking you see.

Oh, btw: this year they got rid of the water buckets. Needless to say,
I stay in the stands now. In fact way back from the wall after last
weeks event when an outlaw blew it's oil line going down the front
stretch next to the wall at 85mph. Felt sunburned for about 3 days and
was sitting in the 3rd row.

Heck, they have a web page that I'm about to check out so I can ask
them about one other thing. You see, I've debated for 3 years about
building a sportsman car. But in their rules/build sheet it says the
usual, stock appearing, no slab sides, cast manifolds, no coil overs
or 5 link or quick change rears. However, about 2/3 of the class is
running, you guessed it, slab sides, 5 links, quick change, coil overs,
aluminum intakes etc, etc.

Not useless at all, in fact I appreciate the chance to see other
peoples view of things. And in retrospect I fully agree with you.
The ohh ahh's are ok, but it's the overall experience that matters
most. And givin a choice between gameplay or oh ah gameplay wins every
time in my book.

No, the damn server I'm on is screwing up massively the last few
weeks. It keeps showing that posts aren't getting through when they
are. Just wrote them about it still trying to get bugs worked out. If
it keeps up methinks it will be time to change services even if others
here localy are twice the money for same features. <shrug>

well personally i don't care if the cars will flip but what i'd like to
see is drivers like say dale earnhardt start about 24th at alanta and come
charging through the field and be up to 2nd and on my rookie driver who
was lucking enough to quilify 1st ***<g> and push me oughta the way and
take the lead. that would be cool also some way of remebering season
championships so if you or an ai driver wins the champ he pits in the
location he so desires. also something i like about f1gp1 the ability to
run several seasons at once maybe (bush, arca, winston cup, ect...)

This is accually a questions for Ed Martin and if Ed gets this message he
can write yes or no next to the questions about Nascar2.
Will roof flaps come up in crashes........
Minor and Major Breakage........
If you can't run fast enough you don't qualify.........
Is there going to be Provisional starts in this race...........
Damage on the door's and the side of the car..........
If car's are really bad will they be sent to the garage for repair........
On the back show the full cell and battery........
You can tape thing's up so you don't go a lap down.........
Lap cars on the inside of you.............
Pit accourding to where you qualify..........
Show a reel of qualifying highlight's so we know what's other people are
doing.........
Penalty's for rough driving........
Pit crew's jump over the wall..........
Drive into the winner's circle..........
If your motor blows up you see the smoke coming out of the back of the
car........
Not a lot of stupid little caution's........
All the new track's pavment........
Straight pit lanes for Tally and C***te........
Have the Nightime races start out in the dusk and then goes into
Dark......
Spotters and Crew Chiefs talk to you during the race......
Have the weather change during Qualifying and the Race...........
And finally have event's shortened by rain........
They may sound like suggestions but all you have to do is write yes or no
if there going to be in Nascar 2.
