Well, being the inquisitive type, I installed SP2 when prompted by Windows
Update tonight.

I haven't tested either game extensively, but they seem to work ok. What's
supposed not to work?

MS didn't say.  It's just on a black list.

It's on the list because SP2 turns on XP's firewall by default. Either use a
real firewall, turn it off, or configure the firewall so the right ports are
open. I don't know which ports N2003 uses, multiplayer is the least
desirable part of the whole game.

MS shouldnt have needed to say.  Its obvious that ANY program that accesses
the internet could potentially have a problem with the firewall changes, and
other internet security issues SP2 is supposed to fix.

Are you KIDDING me Steve?   99.3% of the folks that install SP2 don't
even know what a firewall is.  All they will know is stuff that used to
work just fine is broke.  Calling MS's 1-800 number!!!

We self-severing simmists, on the other hand, btw I just made that word
up, guess which one, we are aware of such things, we know that anything MS
can make can be hacked, probably even before it's completed it's gold disk
duplication.
Criminey...I'm betting there is some stuff in XP that won't work now
with the new SP.  Think the common folks will bother with the Readmes?
