It's all GPL because everything else is junk compared to it. I don't think
it's a question of road racing vs. oval racing, or else we would see people
talking about TPTCC a lot also...it's just the quality of the physics engine
blows everything else away.
People talking about NR99 and NR3 here makes about as much sense as people
talking about their 486 66MHz computers when they can have high powered
Pentium II and III's that are 6-10x as powerful............for the same
cost.

Your right, John. In fact, most of from the TEN ng migrated from here and
have lived through such historical R.A.S. events as Ymenard declaring
himself the  " Officially mentally retarded guy of the R.A.S., the  Jeff
Gordon challenge and the Nascar1 setup  acquisition fiasco. We aren't
strangers here.

Hey John, what about that indy legends racing game from GT Interactive?
Any news from that one yet?

This group was dominating by Nascar sim drivers prior to TEN coming along.
I have still read this group from time to time for I play GPL a lot as well.
However, starting arguments about who has better physics is just plain
stupid.  I hope you guys don't think that the Nascar people chose to have
the older physics over the GPL engine?  It was simply forced upon them by
the creators.  Give them a break for that.  geez.  By the way, the Nascar
group is working on getting another server started for Nascar3 discussion.
A test server is already up.  However, if they do wind up coming here, they
are simply just returning to the place they started out in the first place.
