I find Imola very difficult indeed. I can get down to 1'22.3 ish in
qualifying which is usually good enough for 3rd or 4th on the grid but
in the race I find I can't be consistent enough to keep up with the
first 4 or 5 cars. The bits I'm having particular difficult are the
Acque Minerale - specifically keeping traction exiting the corner
which leads onto the short straight before the Variante Alfa, and the
Variante Alfa itself which I find exceedingly difficult to
consistently take at any speed without whacking one of the kerbs and
spinning off.
If anyone has any advice on how to go quicker at this track then I
would be very grateful if you would post it here. Also, if anyone
wishes to try out my qualifying and race setups and perhaps see where
I've possibly gone wrong with them then let me know and I'll email
them to you.
