You know, every track I run I fall about 5-10mph under the record.  It's
obvious I am doing something consistently wrong, but I'm not sure what!
If I save a replay of a few tracks, could I send them to someone and have
this person take a good look?  Ie do I have a volunteer?  I will also
need directions on how to send a file via e-mail.  Thank you!

I'll help you with talladega.
send a reply on over of 2 or 3 good laps.
Do you have a joystick, or a wheel/pedals??
I gained almost a second and a half by going to the wheel/pedals..
plus the game is so much more fun, and more competitive now.  At 'dega, I
have to run the AI at 116 % to have a good 500 mile race.  I have raced
about 6 or 7 full 500 milers like this, and my best finish is sixth..
Damn Jeff Gordon wins every time!

I could send you a replay of Talladega.  Does anybody offer to check out
C***te or Atlanta?  C***te has been driving me NUTS and Atlanta is
my newest addition.

I've been using a Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1.  I would like to add on a
gas/brake console if I could ever find one sold separately, but I should
mention that the GP1 works well!

How the hell do you race these cats at 116%?  I have them set at 99% and it's
everything I can do to make a race out of it.  When I left the AI set to 97% I
could grab the pole pretty much every time.  At 99% I haven't yet sat on the
pole but, have sat on the outside of row one.

I have trouble keeping up at 100%.  116% sounds unreal.  What set up do your run?

at 99% I lap the field within 20 laps...
it gets boring really fast!
I made my own setup.. When I used "ace" I would blow the engine halfway down
the back stretch.  I bumped up the gear ratios, but then the car would have
so much momentum going into the turns I would go right up to the wall.  I
just played around with shocks, and tire pressure until it felt right.  It
is still tight in, loose middle, tight off.. but I can not fix it.
If anyone wants a replay of a clean lap, let me know..
