N2..remember N2??

Brian..the spotter was saying the times literally each time I passed the
finish line..lap after lap...

"FORTY-EIGHT-POINT-EIGHT-FIVE"...
"FORTY-NINE-POINT-OH-EIGHT"...
..then if a wall rub...
"FORTY-NINE-POINT-NINE-FOUR"...
and continually....

I wish I knew how to reactivate this function.

Ahhhh yes I remember that.  You had to write something in one of your N2
files in the main directory.  The file that would also be used for the Glide
3dfx settings and the mirror settings.  You raced on the NROS no?  I think
it was only a function that happened when you raced on the NROS, after one
of their patch.  Something like "laptimes = 1".

I just looked in my N2 manual.  It's Alt-o (letter "O").  Alt-l (letter "L")
tells you where the leader is on the track.

Yes but you need to do that each lap.  He asked the way to make it so that
you don't need to press Alt-O each lap ;)

I think?

I agree with Eldred here.  I know that there was some variation of the
O key that did it once, another that did it permanently....
