OK gurus...What is the easiest way to move existing set ups and painted cars to
newly installed N4 on new computer? I'd sure like to move my entire download
folder as well. Cant keep old HD as I'm selling the old computer. Thanks in
advance.

Just put all of your setups on a CD if you can.  Make sure you keep your
player.ini and N4 online file(it has a really long name of letters and
numbers)  Just paste them back onto the new install of N4 and you're good to
go.  Better yet, install both HDDs and copy em over then put it back in the
old one

Zip the export folder, the players folder, the series\cup\cars folder and
email them to yourself
Unzip them to their proper place after you reinstall the game

One thing to remember if you copy them to CD...

After you copy them back, they will all have the read-only bit set.  Make
sure you clear this or you'll have trouble.

If under Win2K, you can select the setups folder itself and do properties.
Then set & clear the read-only and it will take care of everything in the
folder at the same time.

I don't believe this works under Win9x and you have to do each one
individually or with a utility.

If he changes motherboards, he has to do a new installation.  While I don't
have a problem with the Ghost per-se, just re-writing the image to the new
hard drive is probably going to be quite painful.

ih hje doesn't chage mobo chipstes then trhere is no problem at all
if the chipset is new all you have to do is let the new mobo detect all the
windows drivers and so on, if it fails then just run a windows reinstall on
top of the old one....

Thanks for all of the suggestions. Being computer knowledge impaired, I'm going
with zip and email solution. Thanks again all
