rec.autos.simulators

i've had papy nascar 2003 and it's mods installed for quite awhile now,
with nary a problem.however, the other night i went into the options
screen to tweak the ff settings, and it froze on the settings screen. so
i shut it down with task manager. now whenever i lauch it, i get the
title screen for a few seconds and then a crash to desktop. anyone have
any ideas what the problem might be? like i said, it's been bullet proof
until now. i hate to reinstall if i can help it. thanks.

I would try running config.exe to reset the video settings. If all
else fails, I would think re-installing over the current application
would only cause you to lose options settings.
