by Carlto » Fri, 30 Apr 1999 04:00:00

Hi,
My question is : should I buy Nascar99 or Nascar revolution?
I used to play Nascar2 and I prefer the simulation aspect in a game so I 'm
waiting for you advices.

Thanks

Unless you have a TNT card <g> God, I just can't make myself play software
mode for N99. I'm just too damn spoiled!

Nascar Revolution is officially (here at least) known as Nascar Revulsion.
N99 is a enhanced version of N2, bgn, trucks, more tracks etc. You can get
trucks on the web for N2. Do you want nascar? or something different?

NASCAR Revolution is pure garbage.
Nascar99 is THE NASCAR sim.
No doubt.
..at least until Nascar3 comes out :)

Tony,

PC configuration you have <VBG>

At least N99 is a decent (but old physics) sim.  You could run it at minimal
resolution and all graphics removed and enjoy it more than that NRevolting ;)

Yeah isn't that sad though? I'm not big on graphics at all - but hell, with
the _latest_ patch, it's somewhat playable. I guess, I'm with all you boys
eagerly waiting N3.

I think they called it NASCAR 2000 in the new PCgamer... so is it going to
be called Nascar 3 or NASCAR 2000 based on other sierra titles, I'll assume
it's been changed to 2000

Hands down, N99. When it comes to the simulation aspect, N99  has it
covered. Revolution is way too arcadish.

If you like sim quality go with Nascar 1999

If you want a reflective rear view mirror decoration, or a high tech
drink coaster go with Rev <G..

Hehe.  I can only imagine the answers you will get here :)
