act labs brake adjustment?

by dklassen8 » Sat, 07 Feb 2004 12:59:25

Would anyone happen to know a relatively simple way to adjust where the
brake pedal kicks in? At the moment it has to be pressed down about 1/4
to 1/3 of the way before any input is detected. I checked the raw inputs
and it doesn't seem to be a callibration issue.

Thanks for any tips,

dklassen

That doesn't sound right, the brake pedal on my unit is very linear.  The
raw input you're talking about, are they readings from DXTweak?

AD, thanks for the link for the springs mod. I think I will give this a try
soon! 8)

Yeah, I just tried DXTweak2 as well and the readings don't kick in right
away. I played with the curve to make it feel a little bit more natural
(to me anyway).

Any ideas on what would be causing this?

thanks again,
