Well, how about it?  The F1 schedule is done now.  Hope you guys had a good
time at Spa today, wish I could have made it.  I suggest a break for the
holidays and then let's start up a touring car series in January, same time
(and place, if we can talk Eldred into it:).  There are a ton of good road
tracks for NR2003 at the Pits and at Project Wildfire, enough to make for a
complete series without requiring people to get Noonan's converter.  Plus
using TPTCC or something similar gives us a dedicated server, which I'm sure
Eldred will appreciate.  Any interest?

I'm up for anything on a road course. If it's to replace the F1 stuff I'll
go with Dave on what we do - we put a lot of time into F1C.

As long as the race is at a time I can attend, I'm in too.

I'd give touring cars a go. I haven't looked at the PWF cars (or
tracks) yet, so I might need a hand geting all that stuff installed
and sorted out. But I've got time to burn, so at least I'll show up
for the races (once the install is working).

I can handle the 12am races but IIRC didnt Eldred change to 9am est
which makes it way too early (6am) on a sunday for me.

The last one I attended was on the 14th, and it was still at noon.  I don't
know if the time has changed since then.  Maybe you are thinking of the full
length GP's that he announced?

I would like to keep it at noon EST on Sundays.  Not good for the Pac rim
types I guess but it does work out well for the Euros and the U.S.

That is my hope.  It's up to Eldred, or whomever volunteers a server if not
him.

I can understand that.  I just noticed today that RASCAR are running PTA
stuff.  So this may be redundant for some people.  If RASCAR is going to run
TPTCC maybe we don't need a second touring car group.  Personally I would
still like to do it because the RASCAR races are not at a good time for me,
and because I can't make them regularly and they seem to get upset about
that.  But if everybody else that is interested in touring cars is already
in RASCAR then maybe we should do something else on Sunday.  Personally in
that case I would prefer ETCC or DTM, but it might be interesting to keep
RASF1 going and run the RH2003 mod.  Whatever it is, I'm only going to be
able to make about half of them anyway, so I really want to defer to other
people on what we decide to do.

Who gets upset?  Naturally the more you run the more acclamated to the
group you become but I dont ever remember anyone saying you couldnt run
at your convienence.  We do keep points now but thats entirely up to you
whether it matters or not.  If you would like to occasionally run just
let me know and Ill add you to the IL.  If you do I need your ecact
sierra ID.
