I'm setting about half watching the coverage on ESPN2 of the opening of Daytona
USA when they cut to an interview with Richard Petty. He is sitting at a
terminal at the park playing Nascar. As he enters turn one, painted on the
outside wall are the words DAYTONA USA in red letters. Does the holy grail
of auto simulators actually exist??

Yes it does, but it is only a special edition for this purpose only.
Since Sega has the rights thru April 1997, there is no chance in Hell
we'll see it on our own machines till after that date. Then who
knows...
If anybody gets a chance to try it out this weekend at Daytona don't
bother letting us know about it. If you thought it has been HOT around
here recently...
